"A clothes line knocks you down. A Lariat knocks you out." ~ Sir William Regal

Love your style, this piece is amazing.

You really mixed all the different influences well in this piece. Are you going to be doing established Jungle Girls or do you think you might try your hand at creating some of your own?

glee-chan responds:

I thought I might do some public domain ones, but really if I made them up I doubt most people would know the difference, lol. You know what, I bet I actually could do that! lol

I've never actually seen this series, but I watched part of the sci-fi series written by the same author. It used to air on one of the Spanish channels when I was in college, right after Dragonball.

Well someone is letting her freak flag fly.

Sorry that you still depressed and haven't gained back your motivation. I like this painting and think that this might be a good series to get you motivated again. Nothing like drawing beautiful girls in night ware to get your motivation back. Good job on the clothing, it feels like something she would wear, a nice nod to her ancient Greek background with a modern twist.

This was one of those series I always saw cool art for, but don't know anything about. Seeing the people you listed as working on the series though, the cool character designs and art make sense.

glee-chan responds:

I guess you can say it was a series that was close to Super Soldier/Weapon X concept. I think it had a bit more personality though.

I think leaving the character in was a also a good idea to create a sense of scale.

I can't believe this is your first time drawing a forest scene, it's so well done. The contrast between the trees and the white clothes really makes this piece pop.

Do your tattoos really extend that far? I thought you were badass enough with just rib tattoos, but a piece that includes your hips and your shoulder tattoo going all the way past your elbow, that is some serious time spent in a shop. Then there's the fact that ribs and elbows are supposed to hurt, if I didn't know better, I'd say we are dealing with a masochist.

As for the picture itself, I think this is one of your best self portraits. The pose is well done and you drew the face so well. It feels like a slight change from your usual style, but I'm liking it.

glee-chan responds:

I actually missed the one on my ankle. I can't believe I did. BUT I've not made a template for my ankle tattoo yet, so I guess that's an excuse? I also need to do some modifications on the arm one but...too lazy. One day! One DAY! lol
